X Box 360 Games Review: Grand Theft Auto 4

x box 360 games

Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA4) is one of the most highly anticipated X Box 360 games of this year. The game is the latest installment in the wildly popular Grand Theft Auto series.

So far, critics have not expressed much enthusiasm for the Xbox version of GTA4. Apparently, the game's only redeeming virtue is its excellent graphics.

Several game reviewers have criticized the game for its overzealous attempts at realism. Critics claim that the game tries so hard to be realistic that it ends up being laughable.

The main character, Niko Bellic, is allegedly remorseful of his killing spree in an Eastern European war, but in GTA4, he goes on missions where he kills dozens of people. Niko's contradictory behavior weakens the plot and realism of the game.

Nintendo Wii Enjoys Unprecedented Sales

nintendo wii

The sales of the Nintendo Wii continue to break records despite the recession. Sales of the Wii recently hit 50 million devices worldwide, putting the competition to shame.

Wii Sales for January and February were up by 91% from last year. Nintendo executives believe the system continues to sell because consumers perceive it as a good value with long term playability.

"For people looking to get the most entertainment value, the hours of fun out of Nintendo is unsurpassed," explained Nintendo's VP of sales and marketing for the U.S. "It's something the whole family can enjoy."

Nintendo executives also dismiss criticism that its games do not perform as well with critics as XBOX and PS3 games. They claim that the best measure of success is sales, an area in which Nintendo continues to exceed expectations.

Learning How Do Mp3 Players Work

how do mp3 players work

Mp3 players have revolutionized the music world, but few people understand the technology. In this post, we'll answer the question how do mp3 players work.

The most amazing thing about mp3 players is that they do not have any moving parts. Instead, they read data from solid state memory.

Basically, an mp3 player is a device that stores data that is also capable of transferring the files to an audio player. A software program is what makes the transfer from file to player possible.

None of the technologies used in mp3 players are actually new, but the combination is a novel one. The most important parts of an mp3 player include the memory, data port, microprocessor, and digital signal processor.

Sony Gets Patent for Wearable PS3 Controller

ps3 controller

Sony has recently patented an innovative ps3 controller that gamers can wear. The wearable controller functions through a series of finger rings that emits LED lights.

The controller is vaguely similar to Nintendo's Power Glove controller. The Power Glove was met with little enthusiasm from gamers in the 80s.

Originally, Sony filed the patent for the Playstation 2, not the PS3. As a result, the wearable controller concept may have been scrapped before the company was able to move forward.

Gaming experts think the wearable controller may help the struggling ps3 console. A new controller concept would help set the ps3 apart from the much cheaper XBOX 360.
