Sony Gets Patent for Wearable PS3 Controller

Sony has recently patented an innovative ps3 controller that gamers can wear. The wearable controller functions through a series of finger rings that emits LED lights.
The controller is vaguely similar to Nintendo's Power Glove controller. The Power Glove was met with little enthusiasm from gamers in the 80s.
Originally, Sony filed the patent for the Playstation 2, not the PS3. As a result, the wearable controller concept may have been scrapped before the company was able to move forward.
Gaming experts think the wearable controller may help the struggling ps3 console. A new controller concept would help set the ps3 apart from the much cheaper XBOX 360.
