Detroit Man Steals MP3 Players and Hides Them in Pants

A Detroit man walked out of a store with $5,000 of stolen mp3 players in his pants last Friday. Surveillance cameras caught the man in the act, which later led to his arrest.
Mark William Volke, age 32, stole the players from electronics cases in a Target store in the Detroit area. When police tried to stop Mr. Volke, he attempted to run away.
Police had to threaten Volke with their Tasers as they pursued him on foot. Volke continued to run, and officers were forced to user their Tasers to stop him.
Mr. Volke was charged with three felony counts of theft, for which he will have to serve a total of 15 years in prison. Volke also received a charge for resisting the arrest.
